The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has begun free delivery of petrol, also known as premium motor spirit (pms) to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and six other States.
The development comes as the refinery maintains its ex-depot price of N1,075 per litre.
In a notice shared on its official X handle on Wednesday, the refinery announced the free delivery service which it said covers Ogun, Lagos, Rivers, Delta and Kaduna States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The refinery stated that the offer is available to customers purchasing a minimum of 250,000 litres of petrol.
The latest move comes shortly after Dangote Refinery met with stakeholders in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector to discuss cost-reflective pricing for petrol.
The engagement ended with stakeholders expressing support for further reductions in fuel prices.
The refinery had recently announced its fourth reduction in the gantry price of petrol, bringing it down to N1,075 per litre.
