Tripod Times reports that Nigerian actress, filmmaker and producer Funke Akindele has announced a partnership with social media giant Facebook to promote her forthcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, ahead of its scheduled cinema release on December 11, 2026.
Akindele announced the collaboration on Thursday, October 29, 2026, through her social media platforms, expressing excitement about taking the movie to a wider audience. She also acknowledged the continued support of fans who have followed her storytelling journey over the years.
The partnership is expected to give audiences greater access to exclusive content surrounding the movie, including behind-the-scenes footage, premiere appearances, preparations and updates shared through her official Facebook pages.
The initiative comes as filmmakers increasingly explore digital platforms to promote their productions, engage audiences and build anticipation ahead of theatrical releases. By leveraging Facebook’s extensive reach, Akindele aims to create more opportunities for fans to connect with the film before it arrives in cinemas.
The movie is Akindele’s latest major cinema project following the commercial success of previous productions, including Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah, Everybody Loves Jenifa and Behind the Scenes.
With the December release date approaching, the Facebook partnership is expected to form part of the film’s promotional campaign as the filmmaker seeks to generate wider interest in the project ahead of its arrival in cinemas nationwide.
